KCNZ’s eight year partnership with Envirocomp continues as ownership returns to its founder
Kimberly-Clark New Zealand has been advised that Envirocomp which operates two nappy composting facilities in Canterbury and Wellington regions, has been re-purchased by its founder Karen Ashby (nee Upston) from Outsourced Client Solutations (OCS) New Zealand.
Kimberly-Clark New Zealand is delighted to learn that OCS has reached agreement with the
original founder of Envirocomp to ensure a future for Envirocomp. Kimberly-Clark New Zealand has supported the Envirocomp business since its inception in 2008 by Canterbury entrepreneur Karen. This support continued when OCS took ownership of Envirocomp in 2010.
Kimberly-Clark New Zealand has invested over $850,000 in the development and promotion of the business since 2008 and is delighted to continue its close association with Envirocomp as it transitions back from OCS to Karen’s entrepreneurial leadership in a new partnership Frontier Group Partners Ltd.
Kimberly-Clark New Zealand is committed to supporting the development of environmental initiatives, especially around the diversion of our products and packaging from landfill after use, and is also a founding member of the Love NZ soft plastic recycling programme to recycle the soft plastic wrap around its products.
